Work over the summer2

All of these pictures i looked at japanese style of drawing, i took the main picture of my character and but them in different poses, showing different angles an character.

One week i decided to draw actual wolfs then cartoon, i looked at the shape and look of the wolves and in the top left picture i concentrated on looking at the eyes and detail around the eyes, i rather like the look of the eyes, maybe the eyes could of been made a bit smaller.

In the 2nd left picture i found a picture some drew and i loved the shape of the wolf and the basic pose so i thought i would give it a go, i learnt a lot from drawing this picture, in shading the light areas and dark a well as fur detail.

The last picture on the end, i worked on for 2 hours, i'm quite happy with the proportions and i like the detail, i think i still need to work on the fur detail but over all i'm quite happy with it.

The first picture i found on deviant art, i loved the detail in the picture and the whole pose in general so i had a go at drawing the same picture and after decided to draw my own wolf in the same style, it didn't turn out the way i would of liked it to, i think the proportions are a bit out and i could of worked on the shading a bit more, but i like the pose and with a bit of practice i will hopefully improve.

This is my own cartoon style wolf, i moved away from the japanese animation and looked at other styles, it took me awhile to get the pose and proportions right but i'm rather happy the way it has turned out and hopefully will be able to take it into photoshop and color and shade it. The 1st picture next to it, is the research i did on eye styles, legs and mouths, this helped a lot with this picture.

This is another picture i found on deviant are, i found it rather cute and i like the style and the exaggerated parts on the picture and has given me ideas for my own designs.
