My own work

These are two of the characters i drew over the summer holidays and thought i'd take a go at coloring them in, in photoshop, get a bit of practice in. I think with my cartoon wolf, i need to practice line work and i may add shading to see what it looks like when i have the time. The secound image i'm quite happy with, i think i could improve on shading tho.

Concept so far

I have one more concept to color and finish but this is what i got so far. Im rather happy with the outcome. I could improve on the bench and the shading on the tree's and grass. I will keep practing this in my own time.

Final Characters

These are my final 2 characters, i'm quite happy with the way they have turned out. I decided to color them in, in photoshop this time and have a go at using a pen tablet. It wasnt as hard has i thought and rather enjoyed it. I love the way the girls hair has turned out and she is definatly my favourite design. I think i still need alot of practice using photoshop and using the pen tablet still. i think the shading on the dinosaur could be better and the shading on the girls dress improved. Im my own time i will look up tutorials to help me with this.

Park research-pitch

Here i decided to look at different park designs to give me a better idea on my environment designs for my project. Im still aiming for something simple but not boring.

Final Characters

These are my final two characters. Im hoping to work on them a bit on photoshop, colour and shade them in. Im rather happy with the way they have turned out, i think ill work on there different poses in future work to come.

Little girl and t-rex designs

These are the designs i have come up over the last few days, i wanted to catch a look of a innocent girl and like i said on my previous post for my research i like the style of boo off Monsters Inc. so i based my designs around that look,changing hair styles, clothing and shape. I need a lot of practice in drawing cartoon people but hopefully with time i will improve.

These are the extra 4 drawing i drew of my t-rex, incorporating my favorite bits of research into each design, making my designs more and more simple and not so complicated. Im rather pleased with what has come out, my favorite design is the 2nd page, the t-rex at the bottom, he's simple and doesn't look scary.
